The Cleveland Browns’ quarterback situation is pretty much set as Jacoby Brissett will be the team’s interim starter until Deshaun Watson returns from his suspension. Now, the team’s practice squad is taking shape.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Browns are signing veteran quarterback Josh Rosen to their practice squad.
Rosen was selected 10th overall in the 2018 NFL Draft by the Cardinals. Arizona traded up to select him, but his time in the desert wouldn’t last long. The team would be bad enough to draft quarterback Kyler Murray with the first overall pick and the rest has been history.
Dolphins would send a second-round pick and a 2020 fifth-round pick for Rosen, ending his time in Arizona after just one season.
In 2021, Rosen appeared in four games for the Falcons and completed two of 11 passes for 19 yards and two interceptions.
He’s completed 54 percent of his passes for 2,864 yards and 12 touchdowns with 21 picks during his professional career.
