Texans quarterback CJ Stroud was ready to throw hands with Broncos linebacker Alex Singleton after taking a late hit during Sunday’s clash.
Stroud, who’s had an incredible rookie season so far, is having another great game in Week 13 and had completed 6-of-10 passing attempts for 153 yards at the time of writing.
Singleton hit him with a shove on a play at one point, with a flag having already hit the ground, and the QB was not about to stand down as he faced off with the bigger LB, getting in his face ahead of what turned into a shoving match between the two teams.
The Texans are up 13-0 over the Broncos, who are on a five-game winning streak. On a dull note, Houston has seen star rookie wide receiver Tank Dell carted off after a first-quarter leg injury that appears to be pretty serious.
