CJ Stroud has been one of the best stories of the 2023 season, as the second overall pick of the draft continues to light up opposing defenses.
Teams have struggled to find ways to slow down the Offensive Rookie of the Year front-runner. The Arizona Cardinals probably thought they had figured out an answer, though, as they absolutely destroyed Stroud on a blitz.
That hit from Jalen Thompson clearly shook up Stroud, who had to leave the game for a play.
The good news for the Texans is the nasty blow didn’t keep their stud rookie out for long, as the former Ohio State Buckeye returned to the game on that very same drive.
