Cindy Brunson and her family are currently dealing with a huge loss in their family.
The Longtime sports broadcaster, who currently works for Pac-12 Networks, revealed she lost her father while posting a picture of the two just before his funeral.
“Getting ready for my pops funeral, reach for my phone and this is what I see,” Brunson wrote, including a picture of her and her father on her wedding day.

Her father, Rueben Brunson Jr., passed away with his daughters by his side at St. Clare’s Hospital due to complications from pneumonia. He was 80 years old.
The former Army Captain earned a Purple Heart, a Vietnamese Service Medal, and a National Defense Service Medal after joining the Army in 1965. He was honorably discharged from the Army in 1969 after he spent nearly two years in the hospital at Madigan Army Hospital.
His daughter, Cindy Brunson, served as a host and SportsCenter anchor for ESPN from 1999-2012. While working at the Worldwide Leader In Sports, she would meet her future husband, Steve Berthiaume.
Once she left the company, she would go n to continue her career with the Arizona Diamondbacks broadcast team before eventually signing on with Pac-12 Networks.
