On Tuesday, the NFL announced that the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers game was being flexed to Sunday Night Football.
The AFC West showdown replaces the Cincinnati Bengals at Pittsburgh Steelers game originally scheduled for SNF will now be played at 4:25 p.m. ET on CBS that Sunday, which was the original slot for Chiefs-Chargers.
In response to that change, the Bengals’ Twitter account posted a video showing quarterback Joe Burrow stating how much he really does not care. It should be noted his response was to something else back in 2021.
“I don’t care about any of that… I’ll play at 6 a.m. in the middle of the field somewhere.”
Cincinnati is 5-4 on the season and travels to Pittsburgh following their bye week. They are 0-3 in the AFC North this season, including a Week 1 loss to Pittsburgh.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are 2-6 through Week 9 and look like a team that is playing for draft position at this point in the season. It’s not hard to see why these two teams were flexed out as it is not a sexy matchup as it has been in the past.
