The Cincinnati Bengals shocked a lot of people by making it to the Super Bowl, and even though many see the season as an overall success, the Bengals are taking another loss by losing one of their biggest corporate sponsors.
TriHealth decided to end a seven-year, $2-million annual contract with the team.
TriHealth, which is one of the region’s largest health systems, says they had to reduce community sponsorships because of higher labor costs during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to their CEO.
Before the separation, TriHealth said they wanted to recognize their team members for all the work they do so they had a drawing and sent four winners to Los Angeles for an all-expenses-paid trip to Super Bowl LVI.
“It is something they will remember forever,” the hospital said.
Joe Burrow completed 22 of his 33 passes, for 263 yards and a touchdown, but was sacked seven times on the day in the loss. The team may have lost, but the future is extremely bright, especially if the team fixes that offensive line and keeps their franchise QB on his feet.
