There is another concerning injury update on another Cincinnati Bengals’ star offensive player ahead of Sunday’s contest against the Houston Texans.
As previously noted, superstar wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase is dealing with a back injury that he suffered in Sunday’s win over the Buffalo Bills. It’s unknown at this time if Chase will suit up against the Texans.
Per Bengals reporter Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic, fellow star wideout Tee Higgins was limited in Wednesday’s practice with a hamstring injury. If he’s unable to play, Cincy could be without its top two receivers.
Hamstring injuries are always concerning, especially for wide receivers. It’s hard for them to play if their hamstring isn’t at 100 percent, and the recovery timeline is often unpredictable.
Los Angeles Rams superstar receiver Cooper Kupp missed the team’s first four games with a hamstring injury before returning in Week 5. Minnesota Vikings All-Pro wideout Justin Jefferson hasn’t played since Week 5 as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury as well.
After starting out 1-3, the Bengals have rallied with four straight victories. That includes a statement win on the road over the San Francisco 49ers in Week 8 which was followed by the win over Buffalo.
