During the Miami Dolphins’ Week 3 matchup with the Buffalo Bills, defensive lineman Christian Wilkins and quarterback Josh Allen had gotten into an altercation in a pile that resulted in Allen ripping Wilkins’ helmet off.
Allen was accessed a penalty but nothing happened to Wilkins. The quarterback said after the game that “there were some things that (he) didn’t appreciate going on” during the pile.
During a later interview, Allen alluded that Wilkins grabbed his junk. The NFL agreed so they fined him $13,261, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
As Allen noted, it’s something Wilkins “has been known for . . . going back to college.”
Josh Allen completed 42 of his 63 pass attempts for 400 yards, two touchdowns, and one fumble lost in Sunday’s loss to the Dolphins.
