Olivia Culpo was preparing to give the McCaffrey family an awfully generous (and incredibly pricey) gift for Super Bowl 58, but her fiancé wouldn’t allow it.
Culpo is engaged to San Francisco 49ers star running back Christian McCaffrey, who will make his Super Bowl debut on Sunday. McCaffrey’s 49ers will meet Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in the big game at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Christian’s mother, Lisa, recently stated on her “Your Mom” podcast that Super Bowl suites were too expensive for the family to rent. Culpo then revealed on Instagram that she purchased a suite as a birthday gift for Lisa.
The 2023 Offensive Player of the Year, however, would not allow it. Speaking to Extra TV, McCaffrey said that he “had to nix” Pulpo’s birthday gift because he simply won’t allow “anybody to pay to watch him” play.
So, the McCaffrey family will be able to watch from a suite after all, and it’s thanks to the incredible generosity of the power couple.

McCaffrey’s father, Ed, won Super Bowl championships with the 49ers (in 1994) and Denver Broncos (1997 and 1998). We’ll soon find out if Christian can make it four championship rings in the family.
