San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey hasn’t played football in a few weeks.
The All-Pro missed San Francisco’s season-ending 21-20 loss to the Los Angeles Rams with a mild calf strain suffered the week prior. McCaffrey has worked hard during his time away from the field to prepare himself for Saturday’s game.
The extra week of rest appears to have helped the team as linebacker Dre Greenlaw has an injury designation with two days to go before the game.
Greenlaw being listed as questionable on Thursday’s report means that star running back Christian McCaffrey is now off the team’s injury report and does not have a designation heading into Saturday.
With their Divisional Round Game against the Green Bay Packers just days away, McCaffrey appears to be good to go.
The Packers are coming off a shocking and dominating victory over the Dallas Cowboys in the Wild Card round while on the road. They were the only team to win a road game in the round. The Packers were also the first No. 7 seed to win a postseason game since the NFL expanded the playoffs during the 2020 season to allow seven teams from each conference to make it.

Despite missing their season finale, McCaffrey still finished as the NFL’s leader in rushing yards (1,459) as well as yards from scrimmage (2,023).
The 49ers and Packers are scheduled to kick off on Saturday, January 20 at 8:15 pm ET.
