As we get closer and closer to the start of the 2020 season, bold takes are being made from media personalities to make fans lose their mind.
Chris Simms is no exception.
The NBC Sports analyst gave his opinion on quarterbacks during an appearance on WEEI Radio where he talked about ranking Jarrett Stidham inside his top 40 quarterbacks for the 2020 season, but not having Tua Tagovailoa on his list at all.
Simms said it had to do with Stidham being the “more talented’ quarterback.
“(Stidham is) more talented than Tua,” Simms said. “(Tua) is a creation of Alabama. You don’t think Jarrett Stidham, or like Justin Herbert would have set the world on fire if they got to play with four, first-round receivers and two, first-round tackles?”
You can certainly make the argument that Tua played with a lot more talented players at the collegiate level than Stidham.

Stidham can end up being the better pro due to him playing under the greatest coach of this generation in Bill Belichick.
Even with saying all of that, both players still have to prove themselves on the field.
