New Orleans Saints star wide receiver Chris Olave was arrested on Monday evening for recklessly operating a motor vehicle.
Per Saints reporter Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football, Olave was arrested Monday night for driving 70 MPH in a 35 MPH limit zone. Per Underhill, Olave didn’t resist arrest from the officers, and he fully cooperated with them.
At 11:15 p.m. EST, Underhill added that Olave was about to be released from Kenner City Jail in Kenner, Louisiana.
Olave is in his second season with the Saints. The 23-year-old has 39 receptions for 471 yards and a touchdown. New Orleans will visit the Indianapolis Colts this Sunday as they try to get back to .500.

Olave is just the latest NFL wideout to get in trouble with the law. Earlier, it was reported that the Chiefs’ Justyn Ross had been arrested on felony charges related to a domestic violence incident.
