Chris ‘Mad Dog’ Russo, or fake Skip Bayless, as some call him gets paid a ton of money to go on ESPN and shout with Stephen A. Smith.
The Mad Dog had an appearance with Howard Stern last week on SiriusXM Wednesday morning and revealed that his deal to debate Stephen A. Smith on Wednesdays on “First Take” is for $10,000 an episode.
That is $10K a show for 40 weeks.
That is great money especially when you consider that this is Russo’s third job. He also hosts afternoon drive on SiriusXM’s Mad Dog Radio and hosts “High Heat” on MLB Network.
Russo is only there for one day, and yet makes tons of headlines when he is live on TV. He should really be in line for a major pay raise once this contract is up.
