Something about the last name Bosa really irritates a lot of people, but it’s mostly due to what Nick Bosa has done and stated in the past.
That was somewhat brought back up again after Chris Long posted a harmless photo on Twitter.
The former football defensive end who played in the National Football League for 11 seasons posted his collection of signed jerseys from several NFL players in the league, and it prompted one user to call out the ‘racist’ Bosa.
“You can keep the racist bosa one down.”
That Twitter user was clearly thinking about Nick Bosa, so Long played along.

One guy tried to explain that Joey Bosa called Colin Kaepernick a clown and later apologized.
Long continued to play along:
It was back in 2019 when 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa addressed several of his controversial tweets after being selected with the second pick in the NFL draft, specifically clarifying a 2016 tweet in which he called former San Francisco quarterback Colin Kaepernick a “clown.”
Bosa apologized for some of his comments and called his tweet criticizing Kaepernick “a bad decision,” adding, “I respect what he’s done.”
“No, it wasn’t directed towards that,” Bosa said of Kaepernick’s decision to protest during the national anthem. “It’s not like I’m saying his stance and what he was doing. That’s not what I was talking about at all. It was a specific thing that happened and me as a young kid, [with a] thought popping into my head and, boom, just decided to tweet it out. Bad decision. I respect what he’s done. If it empowers anybody, then he’s doing a good thing. I apologize for that.”
As far as Joey Bosa goes, he just plays football and minds his business.
