Since the police related death of George Floyd at the hands of the Minneapolis cops, there have non-stop protests in every major city in the United States that has only got stronger with other deaths of African-American men and women by the police.
Many of the groups have been taking down statues of figures who were racist back in the day in response to the ongoing movement, but other groups are making sure some of those statues remain untouched.
Many vigilantes gathered recently at the statue of Christopher Columbus in Columbus Square in Philadelphia to protect the statue while a guy questioned them.
Former Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Chris Long called out one of the vigilantes for wearing an “Underdogs” shirt with Long on the front, demanding he change it to something else.
