It was the penalty that ruined Super Bowl 57 in the eyes of most people.
We were headed for an epic finish between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs until the officials decided to carry on the theme of “refs deciding games” by making a very questionable defensive holding call on the Eagles on a crucial third-down late in the fourth quarter.
The call game the Chiefs a fresh set of downs and allowed them to ice pretty much the rest of the clock before kicking the game-winning field goal.
Many NFL fans sounded off on Twitter following the controversial call.
So… Was he held?
Juju Smith-Schuster was asked that question following the Chiefs’ 38-35 victory. And he wasn’t about to admit that the officials made a mistake.

According to the Chiefs’ wideout he “a hundred percent” was held on the play.
Juju may want to believe that, but I don’t think that’ll be enough to satisfy all the angry Eagles fans out there tonight.
I still expect more televisions in Philly to get smashed in anger.
