An unidentified Kansas City Chiefs fan decided to take matters into their own hands after the team’s frustrating Week 1 loss to the Detroit Lions on Thursday night.
KC’s offense struggled mightily without star tight end Travis Kelce, who was sidelined with a bone bruise and a hyper-extended knee. Kadarius Toney had three costly drops, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling was the club’s leading receiver with only 48 yards on two receptions.
So the disgruntled Kansas City fan posted a hilarious sign about upcoming wide receiver tryouts. Let’s just say it’s a great gig if you can get it!
The Lions escaped Arrowhead Stadium with a 21-20 win. Not only was this Detroit’s first Week 1 win since 2017, but it also marked the Chiefs’ first Week 1 defeat since the 2014 season, when Andy Reid was in his second season with the organization.
Kansas City will try to avoid an 0-2 start when they visit the Jacksonville Jaguars next Sunday.
