The Super Bowl rematch fans have been waiting for is only days away, with the Eagles and Chiefs set to square off on Monday night after their entertaining final game back in February.
The upcoming fixture has quite a few storylines interweaved. For one, it’s set to pit two brothers against each other as Jason Kelce plays for Philly while his younger brother, Travis, is a two-time SB winner with the Chiefs.
As noted above, the teams met in the big game last year. They’re also both at the top of their conferences and it’s beginning to appear as if they’ll be going to the Super Bowl again in 2024.
Another storyline happens to be Travis’s relationship with Taylor Swift, who grew up in Pennsylvania and is a professed Eagles fan. The Chiefs have spiced things up ahead of the matchup by posting a photo of the singer’s father wearing a Kansas City keychain while talking to the tight end at one of her concerts.
Taylor is unlikely to be at the game as she’s back on tour, but it would be interesting to know who she will be supporting on Monday, although her dad’s lanyard has already hinted that she might no longer be an Eagles fan.
