The Kansas City Chiefs will be without four of their key offensive players for Monday’s Christmas Day concert against the Las Vegas Raiders.
On Saturday’s injury report, the Chiefs declared running back Jerick McKinnon (groin), wide receivers Kadarius Toney (hip) and Mecole Hardman (thumb) and offensive tackle Donovan Smith (neck) out for Monday.
The Chiefs offense has struggled to find any consistency all season long, and the task just got that much tougher with these four out. Needless to say, Andy Reid and company will really need their other offensive players to step up against a surprisingly stingy Vegas defense.
Patrick Mahomes won MVP honors last year after throwing for 5,250 yards and 41 touchdowns against 12 interceptions. This season, however, Mahomes has only 3,703 yards and 25 touchdowns to go along with 13 picks.
Kansas City (9-5) can clinch it eighth straight AFC West division title with a victory over the Raiders.
