Last week, the Kansas City Chiefs changed the entire landscape of the AFC when they sent dynamic WR Tyreek Hill packing to the Miami Dolphins after their contract negotiations broke down.
The team had already signed JuJu Smith-Schuster to a one-year contract, and further added Marquez Valdes-Scantling to a three-year deal. However, the team is not nearly done.
ESPN’s Dianna Russini said the reigning AFC West champions are “actively making phone calls” to see if they can add another top wide receiver to the team that could likely make-up for what they lost with Hill.
The Kansas City Chiefs traded star wide receiver Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins last week for five draft picks, including a 2022 first-rounder.
The Chiefs now need to add another dynamic playmaker out wide for Patrick Mahomes to utilize, otherwise teams will find it so much easier to defend them in 2022.
The Chiefs are reportedly considering all avenues that will help this franchise keep hold of the AFC West.
