The NFL world is accustomed to Patrick Mahomes making jaw-dropping highlight reel plays, but his slick touchdown pass to Clyde Edwards-Helaire against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was truly something else.
Facing a second-and-goal situation from the Tampa Bay two-yard line early in the second quarter, Mahomes rolled out to his right and narrowly avoided a sack.
He ran towards the goal line and had to spin away from another sack. Mahomes barely avoided stepping over the line of scrimmage and managed to flip the ball to Clyde Edwards-Helaire for a sensational touchdown.

Sunday night’s battle marked the sixth meeting between the Kansas City Chiefs’ quarterback and Tom Brady. Mahomes was 23-of-37 for 249 yards with three touchdown passes, one interception and 34 rushing yards.
Mahomes’ incredible outing led the Chiefs to a 41-31 victory over a Tampa Bay team that only allowed 27 total points over their first three games. With the victory, Mahomes improved his record vs. Brady to 3-3. No. 15 has taken three of the last four meetings.

Kansas City’s offense made up for a lackluster outing by the defense that yielded 385 passing yards to Tom Brady and 31 total points. But the Chiefs forced two takeaways, including a fumble recovery on the game’s opening kickoff, and they turned those two turnovers into 14 points.
The Chiefs improved their record to 3-1 following a frustrating road loss to the Indianapolis Colts in Week 3. Mahomes and company now return home for a Week 5 showdown against the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday Night Football.
