Three years ago, the Kansas City Chiefs ignored Tyreek Hill’s checked history and drafted him with their fifth-round pick. Fast forward to today, and it’s looking like they probably shouldn’t have ignored those character concerns.
So….did the Chiefs learn anything from the Tyreek Hill experiment?
Apparently not.
On Friday night in Nashville, Tennessee, the Chiefs moved up in the second round to select Hill’s possible replacement in Georgia wideout Mecole Hardman, despite his sketchy social media history.

Sure, while homophobic tweets are unacceptable, they certainly aren’t anywhere close to being as bad as beating women and children. But with the way things have been going for their organization over the past half-a-year, you’d like to think that the Chiefs would have been better off steering clear of any negative press.
Guess not.
