Some classy Kansas City Chiefs fans have teamed up to raise significant funds for Jason Kelce’s charity.
The longtime Philadelphia Eagles’ star center Runs the Be Philly Foundation, which aims at raising funds to help the youth in Philadelphia achieve their full potential for a brighter future.
The Eagles fell 38-35 to the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 57. Jason’s younger brother, Travis Kelce of the Chiefs, played an instrumental role in helping Kansas City claim their second championship in four years.
Chiefs fans have started working together to raise more funds for Kelce’s charity. Per FOX 2, over $70,000 has been raised for Kelce’s charity since Sunday’s Super Bowl game.
Kelce won his first Super Bowl ring with the Eagles back in the 2017 season, helping Nick Foles complete one of the great underdog stories in Super Bowl 52 against the New England Patriots. Younger brother Travis would win his first Super Bowl with Kansas City two years later.
But there was only room for one Kelce brother to win the Super Bowl this season, and it just so happened to go to Travis and the Chiefs. Jason, for what it’s worth, hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down. He’ll surely have another prime opportunity to win a second ring if he opts to continue playing in 2023.
