Kansas City Chiefs fans had quite the reaction for star quarterback Patrick Mahomes after he left a porta-potty during the team’s Super Bowl parade on Wednesday.
As you can see in the video clip below, the fans in attendance gave Mahomes a loud cheer as he made his way out of the porta-potty and back to the parade. The Super Bowl 57 MVP even briefly greeted some fans on his way out:
That wasn’t the only notable moment involving Mahomes during the Super Bowl parade. The 27-year-old also nearly fell off the parade bus, but he fortunately stayed up and avoided a potentially significant injury.
Mahomes led the Chiefs to victory over the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl 57 by a final score of 38-35. With the victory, Mahomes became the first player to win league MVP and the Super Bowl in the same season since Kurt Warner accomplished the feat for the St. Louis Rams back in the 1999 campaign.
The Chiefs captured their second Super Bowl championship in four seasons, having also defeated the San Francisco 49ers in the big game three years ago. One more Lombardi Trophy with this core will cement the Mahomes-Andy Reid-led Chiefs as a dynasty.
