The Kansas City Chiefs have activated a veteran wide receiver ahead of Sunday’s clash vs. the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.
Mecole Hardman, who returned to the team this season after a brief stint with the New York Jets, is returning from the reserved/injured list ahead of the Week 17 fixture and is no longer listed as questionable.
The wideout, who’s won two Super Bowls with KC, has been absent since suffering a thumb injury against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 11 and has only played four games with the Chiefs in 2023. He’s registered eight receptions for 41 yards and has yet to score a touchdown.
The 25-year-old returns amid a crucial period as a win on Sunday would be enough for the Chiefs to win the AFC West.
