Mitch Trubisky’s job is in jeopardy.
On Monday, the Chicago Bears reportedly were in talks with signing Teddy Bridgewater, according to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk.
With starter Mitchell Trubisky’s future in doubt, Chicago was expected to target an experienced vet that could challenge Trubisky and have some insurance just in case he started to struggle in 2020.
Teddy Bridgewater stepped up in 2019 after Drew Brees went down with an injury, going 5-0 and passing for 1,384 yards, nine touchdowns and two interceptions.
