With Dalvin Cook likely to leave the Minnesota Vikings this offseason, a new team has emerged as a favorite in the race for the star running back.
Odds from Bookies.com have the Chicago Bears favored as the player’s next landing spot should he depart Minnesota, with the Vikings still thought to be out ahead in such regard.
With Minnesota +250 with said sportsbook, the Bears are in behind at +500. Following what has been some excellent offseason activity thus far, bringing in a back of Cook’s quality would be huge for Chicago, who are looking to capitalize on their trading their No. 1 overall pick to the Carolina Panthers ahead of this year’s draft.
The Arizona Cardinals and Miami Dolphins are behind them at +650, while the New England Patriots are next up at +750.
The Dallas Cowboys Are Reportedly Considering A Move
The Dallas Cowboys were not listed here but, according to KSTP’s Darren Wolfson, are considering a move for the 27-year-old as a replacement for Ezekiel Elliott.
The Vikings are expected to either trade or cut Cook before the start of the 2023 season despite the fact that he’s one of the most productive running backs in the NFL. A Pro Bowler for the past four seasons, Cook has registered over 1,000 rushing yards per campaign over the duration of said term.
