Chicago Bears’ wide receiver Chase Claypool is the latest player in Halas Hall to publicly voice his frustration with the unraveling organization.
As you can see in the video posted by Mark Carman of CHGO Sports below, ESPN’s Courtney Cronin asked Claypool if he thought Chicago was best utilizing him in order “to showcase the best that he can do”.
Claypool kept it perfectly blunt, shook his head and said, “No.”
In a follow-up question, Cronin asked Claypool about the best place for him to “succeed.” Claypool stated that it was the job of the Bears to decide that.
Last week, quarterback Justin Fields also expressed frustration with the Bears’ coaches when he said he felt “robotic” out there against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 2.

Claypool’s effort and lack of production have both been well-documented here in Windy City. The Canadian kid is in the final year of his rookie deal, and it’s starting to feel more and more like he’s on borrowed time in Chicago.
The 25-year-old has just four catches for 51 yards and one touchdown through Chicago’s first three games in 2023. They host the 0-3 Denver Broncos at Soldier Field this Sunday.
