NFL fans are offering prayers and messages of support for sports media personality Charissa Thompson after she revealed some sad news.
During a recent edition of the “Calm Down with Erin and Charissa” podcast that she co-hosts with FOX Sports’ Erin Andrews (h/t Ryan Glasspiegel of the New York Post), Thompson revealed that her Los Angeles home was burglarized last weekend.
Fortunately, no one was injured. Thompson also found some humor in the fact that the burglars failed to locate the “good stuff” in her home:
“I was at the ranch. I got a text message in the morning that … my alarm had went off at 12:15 at night. And I was like, that’s weird…I checked my cameras and sure enough, two guys running out my front door, bags in their hand, and I immediately started bawling and this like feeling in my stomach…I’ve just been robbed…
These (expletive), they took my pillowcases off. To load up with my (expletive). If you wanna rob me, bring your own (expletive) bag. Okay. Don’t take my nice pillowcase. Yeah, because those were Italian thread count.
Okay. So I walked in and I was like, ‘Why are my pillows all over the place? Oh, I know because you used my pillowcase to load up my (expletive). And by the way, (expletive) you guys because the good stuff I hide and wasn’t even around.”

Thompson added that the burglars were “professionals”, since they were only inside her home for four minutes. Thompson stated that she’s spent plenty of cash on security, including a German Shepherd and a Husky.
The 41-year-old Thompson previously enjoyed a lengthy and successful run at ESPN before coming back to FOX Sports in 2013. She is also a host for Amazon’s “Thursday Night Football” program, beginning with last season.
Amazon won the TNF broadcasts rights after FOX decided not to renew its deal with the NFL. Legendary play-by-place voice Al Michaels and ESPN college football analyst Kik Herbstreit lead the broadcast booth for TNF.
