Charissa Thompson had a story to tell her.
On the latest edition of Calm Down with Erin and Charissa, Thompson spoke about the last time she and her boyfriend Steve went to Times Square for one day.
She explained to Andrews that things got so hectic and crowded that she was forced to ditch her boyfriend to get back to the hotel to see the games because he wouldn’t keep up with her pace.
“Every street’s shut down… So it’s just Steve and I, and now I’m like, I got to go see the game. I’m stuck in Times Square. I can’t get anywhere. I finally look at Steve. He’s not keeping up. I am a fast walker… I’m in and out. I finally look and him and go, “I love you. I’m gonna leave you. I’m booking it. I don’t care how I get there I am getting back to the hotel…” And he goes, “Fine.” I can’t keep looking back…”
Her story ended with her getting back to the hotel room and seeing her parents. When she told her mother that Steve was still lagging behind, her mother joked, “You are your father’s daughter.”

Thompson went through a public divorce with sports agent Kyle Thousand in 2022 after two years of marriage. She is fairly private about her personal life, but occasionally makes light of her past relationships on her podcast.
In the meantime, the Fox Sports and Amazon Prime Video host is still trying to get past the backlash where she admitted she used to invent sideline reports. Thompson recently admitted to fabricating her reports during a stint as an NFL sideline reporter in the late 2000s.
She apologized for choosing “the wrong words” while making it clear she never attributed anything to a coach or a player falsely.
