At long last, the Chargers have fired Brandon Staley and Tom Telesco, but who will step up in their place?
We know who it won’t be.
A new report says offensive coordinator Kellen Moore was offered the interim head coaching position but he turned it down.
The reason? Moore apparently did not want to ruin his chances of being a full-time head coach this offseason.
Oddsmakers have named Bill Belichick and Jim Harbaugh as the front runners for the Chargers job after Brandon Staley got fired.
The Chargers are not exactly an attractive job even with Justin Herbert.

Moore would be looked at pretty badly if he takes the interim job with backup Easton Stick playing right now.
Stick completed 23 of 32 passes for 257 yards with three touchdowns and one interception in the Chargers’ 63-21 loss to the Raiders on Thursday night. He also rushed twice for 11 yards and lost two fumbles. Much of his numbers came in garbage time.
Stick is expected to remain the starting quarterback in a Week 16 Saturday night home matchup against the Bills on Dec. 23rd.
