Chargers fans are sick and tired of their favorite team blowing leads and losing games late. Even more so, the players on the team are tired of it as well.
Los Angeles Chargers linebacker Drue Tranquill is currently on injured reserve with an ankle injury, but he was still disgusted with his team’s performance on Sunday.
The Chargers blew a 21-point lead, losing to the Denver Broncos 31-30 on the last play of the game.
After the game, Tranquill took to Twitter and ripped his team’s performance.
You can interpret this tweet a number of ways as Tranquill might be ripping the coaching staff for doing things to allow the same results to happen time and time again. He could also be making a declaration that this won’t continue and the team will eventually get on the right track.
They have now blown four 16-point leads in the last four games. 17 against Tampa Bay, 17 against New Orleans, 16 against Jacksonville, and 21 against the Broncos.

“It’s definitely tough to be so close and to be in a lead like that and to lose it,” said rookie quarterback Justin Herbert. “It’s definitely tough, but we can’t do anything about it. Now we can’t change the result of what just happened. All you can do is move on and watch the film. And I know tomorrow, we’re going to have a great, great day and practice great week of practice and get ready for our next opponent.”
