Emmanuel Acho has a ton to say about Justin Herbert recently, and the Chargers’ social media team has taken notice of it.
Acho, a former NFL linebacker turned talking head for Fox Sports, called Herbert a “social media quarterback” mainly because a ton of his flashy plays get a ton of attention online.
“On social media, they don’t show you interceptions. That’s not fun,” Acho said.“People aren’t gonna retweet a pick. People aren’t gonna retweet a bad sack. People aren’t gonna retweet a bad decision. That’s who Justin Herbert is, a social media quarterback.”
One of the moments he might be speaking of is when Herbert threw an interception with 26 seconds remaining in the game against the Kansas City Chiefs during Sunday Night Football that sealed the game.
The Chargers took exception to what Acho said, so they put out a video to refute his claims in epic fashion.

Herbert is not having the best year, but that can be contributed to top wide receivers Keenan Allen and Mike Williams having both missed significant time due to injuries.
Justin Herbert currently ranks second in the NFL in pass completions (277), fifth in yards passing (2,730), and seventh in passing TDs (16).
The Chargers are just 5-5 and in second place in the AFC West. It is unlikely that the team can win enough to catch the Chiefs to win this division.
