Former Arizona Cardinals’ star pass-rusher and current free agent Chandler Jones took to Instagram to express concern over ex-teammate Kyler Murray.
Jones and Murray were teammates in Arizona from 2019 to 2021, leading the club to a rare postseason appearance in the latter year.
Jones left Arizona in 2022 to sign a three-year deal with the Las Vegas Raiders. The 33-year-old Jones was released by the Raiders two weeks ago, following his arrest for violating a domestic violence protection order.
Arye Pulli of The Sports Placed posted Instagram photos of some of the posts from Jones. In one post, Jones asked folks to check on Murray and to “make sure he has a mobile assistant.”
Donnie Druin of All Cardinals from FanNation of Sports Illustrated shared additional posts from Jones’ account before they disappeared:

Murray is recovering from surgery on a torn ACL that he suffered late last year in a home game against the New England Patriots. The expectation is that Murray will return at some point this season, but there’s no specific timeline on when he could return.
There is plenty of speculation that the Cardinals will look to move on from Murray this offseason, especially if they end up getting a high draft pick that would put the club in position to draft a top QB prospect like Caleb Williams, Drake Maye or Michael Penix Jr.
After their Week 6 contest against the Los Angeles Rams, the Cardinals will travel north for a road contest against the Seattle Seahawks.
