Former Raiders star Chandler Jones was arrested for allegedly violating a temporary domestic violence protection order on September 28.
More damning information has since come out.
According to a police report from LVMPD, two officers were dispatched following a report of a family disturbance. Details stated that Jones, the father of the reporting party’s son, was currently inside her backyard in violation of a temporary protection order.
The officers arrived on the scene but Jones was already gone. She reported she saw him on her home security system taking items from her backyard, including a recycling bin, pool net, and dog toys. He later sent her videos of himself burning these items.
“[He] was completely nude inside of his own backyard and was burning items that he took from the victim’s backyard,” the police report read.
Jones was arrested on the following day and the day after that, the Raiders would officially cut ties with the defensive end when he was officially released.
“The Raiders are hopeful that Chandler Jones receives the care that he needs,” the team said in a statement the day before his release. “He, his family, and all those involved are in our thoughts. As this is now a legal matter, we will not be providing further comment.”

Jones had exhibited erratic behavior last month, including social media posts targeting individuals within the Raiders organization. It seems as if the franchise was trying to help him behind the scenes while remaining quiet about his issues, but his behavior continued to get worse.
In a livestream on September 28, Jones implicated McDaniels in the death of former New England teammate Aaron Hernandez, who died in prison in 2017. Prior to the arrest, Jones claimed that he was hospitalized against his will by the Las Vegas Fire Department before being transferred to a behavioral health center.
