Chandler Jones continues to go downward with his behavior.
A few days after bashing the Las Vegas Raiders and then wishing them well on social media, Chandler Jones was back on Instagram posting things that had people worried about him.
Jones’ situation with Las Vegas has taken another turn after he posted private direct messages between him and Las Vegas Raiders owner Mark Davis.
Chandler wrote at the bottom: “Y’all ask em if I can play.”, the message is signed by “MD”.
The Las Vegas Raiders open the season against the Denver Broncos this weekend, but the franchise will be without Chandler because of his string of posts on social media against the organization.
Head coach Josh McDaniels said Wednesday that the Raiders are “taking it one day at a time” regarding Jones’ status with the team.

“It’s a personal situation and a private matter,” McDaniels said, via The Athletic. “We have dealt with it and I am not going to talk about it.”
It all started days ago when he became enraged that he could not use the team gym. He then stated he did not want to play for the Raiders any longer. Jones posted more messages on social media late Wednesday night that the Raiders had sent a crisis team to his home.
Jones also posted a picture of a text message he sent to who appears to be McDaniels, saying, “It’s a shame that I am a top athlete with 112 sacks in the NFL and I have to go to a local gym to work out during the season for no apparent reason this is wild to me Josh and you know it you need to do what’s right.”
At this point, it is up in the air if he will take the field at all in 2023 if his behavior continues to go this route.
Jones is a two-time All-Pro and four-time Pro Bowler who has indeed racked up 112 sacks in 154 NFL games played.
