Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Chandler Jones is not stopping when it comes to speaking out against the team as he continues to remain away from them.
Sidelined Las Vegas Raiders star Chandler Jones spent Thursday morning on a bizarre social media tirade, demanding coach Josh McDaniels be fired from the team. He also claimed he’s being paid $1 million per game to stay away from the team because he has ‘too much knowledge.’
Jones had recently stated Raiders owner Mark Davis had been protecting someone who touched his god-daughter. Jones backtracked, saying his phone was hacked, but on Thursday claimed Davis sent him a lengthy text and how he should expose him.
The 33-year-old defensive end is currently out due to a non-football illness amid questions about his mental health.
Last week, he said that he was taken involuntarily to a mental health hospital by the Las Vegas Fire department and was injected with an unknown substance, and forced to sleep on the floor. He said he was taken to Southern Hills Hospital in Las Vegas and “then transferred to Seven Hills where they tried to force me to take meds & injections.”
Jones has been away from the team since Labor Day weekend when he began a series of social media posts aimed at the Raiders, owner Mark Davis, general manager Dave Ziegler, and coach Josh McDaniels.

Jones was inactive for the first two games and, after being put on the NFL list, also missed the Raiders’ Week 3 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
He is in the second season of a three-year, $51 million free-agent contract he signed last year. It remains unclear if he will play football in 2023.
