There are a few things former NFL wide receiver Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson can’t live without.
Johnson has made it clear several times in his life that he had a healthy NFL career because of his love for McDonald’s. johnson has long professed his love for McDonald’s. He has said every first date he’s ever gone on has been there. He works out while eating it and has even had it delivered to him while at the nightclub VIP area.
His love for McDonald’s started as a young child as he reflected on it on the “I Am Athlete” podcast.
“You think this lifestyle provided itself?” Johnson asked co-host Brandon Marshall.
The former all-pro WR credited the restaurant for supporting him during his football career while adding that McDonald’s was so cheap that it was all he could afford as a child growing up.
“When I was a kid, burgers were 50 cents,” he told GQ Sports. “Fries were 20 cents. Therefore, it was all we could afford when I was a kid. You know what happened when I was little too when I ate McDonald’s? I never got hurt. You know what else I did as a kid when I ate McDonald’s? I dominated everything that I did, even in kindergarten.”
