As NFL teams continue to deal with COVID-19 outbreaks, the Bengals have thus far managed to avoid any major issues related to the virus. Only one player on the team is currently on the COVID-19 reserve list.
Joe Burrow may have inadvertently shared his true thoughts about the Cincinnati nightlife scene when he discussed COVID-19 precautions for the players on the squad.
“We’ve been lucky in terms of injuries and COVID. We’re doing a great job with our COVID protocols,” he said, “fortunately there’s not a ton to do in Cincinnati so nobody’s going out to clubs and bars and getting COVID every weekend. But we’ve been healthy.”
Ouch.
Many residents of Cincinnati had a lot to say about the situation, but Chad Johnson had the best reaction.

The former Bengals WR did not agree with his assessment of it being boring in Cincinnati.
“Joe Burrow said there’s not much to do in Cincinnati, i beg to differ, there’s a Starbucks downtown, a McDonald’s in Covington & a O’ Charley’s in Tri-County which in fact has the best complimentary bread known to man,” Johnson replied.
