Joe Burrow threw for a franchise-record 525 yards in the Week 16 win over the Baltimore Ravens, completing a season sweep that saw him beat an opponent twice so soundly that it upset a former player.
Bart Scott was really upset about Burrow being unapologetic for running the score up late. Scott, who hasn’t played in the NFL since 2012 and hasn’t played for the Ravens since 2008, says the Ravens will be seeking revenge on Burrow. Interestingly, his take included words like “killers” and “red dots” and “headhunters” when talking about what the Baltimore defense will do the young QB.
“The last thing you want to do is poke the bear…you won a lifetime ass kicking from the Baltimore Ravens…our rival is the Pittsburgh Steelers…it’s called red dot. Every former Raven understands what red dot means.”
“The order has been sent,” Scott said. “We call it a red dot in Baltimore. It’s going to be on him [Burrow] for the rest of his career. He’s going to regret he ever did that. Zac Taylor, you’re going to regret it too.”
Former star wide receiver Chad Johnson saw that message and delivered a NSFW response to his whining.
“Oh cry me a fucking river Bartholomew,” Johnson said.

Burrow threw for a franchise record 525 yards and four touchdowns during a 41-21 win.
Burrow is the first player in NFL history with two 400-yard passing games against a single opponent in a single season and his 941 yards against yards against the Ravens this season are the most by one player against one team in a season in NFL history.
It is safe to say that these two teams will be going at it like crazy in 2022.
