There was plenty of controversy to speak on during Saturday’s Cowboys-Lions game, including CeeDee Lamb’s big night.
Despite all the backlash towards the refs, the NFL league office apparently had their eyes on the Dallas Cowboys wide receiver.
Lamb took to Instagram after the Cowboys’ 20-19 victory to share a notice of a league-mandated drug test.
He reeled in 13 catches for 227 yards and a touchdown.
His biggest play of the night was a 92-yard touchdown reception late in the first quarter against Detroit. He jogged toward the end zone after catching a pass from Dak Prescott who somehow escaped a sack.
The Oklahoma product also managed to break Michael Irvin’s single-season records for catches and receiving yards. Irvin, who was in attendance, tallied 111 catches for 1,603 yards during the 1995 campaign.

He now owns the team marks with 122 catches and 1,651 yards.
Entering Sunday’s Week 17 action, Lamb currently leads the NFL in receiving yards and is third in scoring receptions behind Tampa Bay’s Mike Evans and Miami’s Tyreek Hill.
The Cowboys helped the Eagles with their 20-19 win over the Detroit Lions, but kept the heat on in the race for the NFC East title.
