CeeDee Lamb was none too pleased with Minnesota Vikings safety Harrison Smith during Dallas’ 20-16 road victory Sunday. The Dallas Cowboys wide receiver could be heard on video during a highlight reel of the game claiming that Smith was “choking” him on a tackle made by Smith.
“Man, he was choking the (expletive) out of me on the sideline,” Lamb said in footage that was captured mid-game as the receiver conversed with teammates on the bench.

The Cowboys’ website highlighted the issue and suggested Smith will get fined, but otherwise the play has largely gone overlooked.
Smith, a first-round pick out of Notre Dame in 2012, has been with Minnesota for the entirety of his NFL career. He was a Pro Bowl selection in five straight seasons from 2015-19.

Lamb, a first-round pick out of Oklahoma by Dallas in 2020, has caught 39 passes for 609 total yards and four touchdowns on the year. During Sunday’s game, he had six catches for 112 yards in the win against Minnesota.
Nobody saw the Cowboys winning this game after starting QB Dak Prescott was sidelined with a calf strain, leading to Cooper Rush in primetime against the Minnesota Vikings. He played good enough to lead the team to a victory.
