CBS has unveiled a lineup of new features set to be introduced at Super Bowl 58 later this month.
The network is set to host the biggest game of the year on February 11 and will be “pulling out all the stops” when the Kansas City Chiefs face the San Francisco 49ers in a clash for supremacy.
NFL games feature several cameras; they’re just about everywhere. However, they’ve never been on the goalposts, until now. CBS is now poised to debut their “Doink cams,” which will allow viewers a much closer view of footballs flying through and possibly hitting the goalposts, as the name suggests.
The broadcasters announced as much in a cool video showing off multiple new features on Thursday. You can check it out right below:

Apart from the “Doink cams,” the game will also feature robotic cameras, 4K zoom cameras, drones, and augmented reality cameras. A previous announcement detailed the ‘SpongeBob’ Simulcast, which will serve as a neat feature for younger viewers.
