Per Jimmy Kempski of PhillyVoice.com, Wentz sat out recent practices due to a tight groin, but he’s ramping up his activity level in advance of a Week 1 game at Washington.
As far as the season goes, Carson Wentz is ready for the season to begin.
Though the Eagles won several playoff games and a Super Bowl in Wentz’s absence due to injuries, Wentz lost his first playoff start last year.

Carson Wentz played an injury-free season in 2019 and enjoyed a very strong season en route to winning the NFC East title. He threw for a career-high 4,039 yards along with 27 touchdowns and only seven interceptions.
