On Sunday, the day did not start out well for Carson Wentz as a report dropped stating he would like to be traded if he remains on the bench while rookie QB Jalen Hurts takes the starting role.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the spurned signal-caller isn’t happy with “the way events have unfolded in the organization” and wants out if he’s going to be a backup.
However, Wentz is getting praised today after footage shows his behavior on the sidelines with Jalen Hurts.
Carson Wentz went 3-8-1 on the season before head coach Doug Pederson decided to bench him. Hurts is now 1-1 oer the past two games. There hopes of winning the NFC East is still alive.
Through 12 starts this year, Wentz has completed a career-worst 57.4 percent of his passes for 2,620 yards, 16 touchdowns and an NFL-high 15 interceptions.
