The Washington Commanders could be without their starting quarterback when they return to the field following their Thursday night victory, as it’s being reported that Carson Wentz fractured a finger on his throwing hand.
More specifically, Wentz apparently fractured his right ring finger during the Commanders’ 12-7 won over Chicago on TNF.
His status going forward remains up in the air as a result of the injury, as he’s set to meet with a hand specialist in Los Angeles to determine how they’ll handle the injury.
Wentz has had quite the up-and-down season thus far this year. He started out with an impressive four-touchdown performance against the Jags in a week one win, but dropped four straight after than while throwing four interceptions and getting sacked a whopping 19 times.
He and his teammates bounced back with a win on Thursday night, but this injury is just the latest bump in the road for the 2-and-4 Commanders.
