Carolina finished with the worst record in football last year at 2-15. Making matters worse was the fact that they surrendered the first overall pick of 2024 to the Chicago Bears in last year’s move for Bryce Young, putting the NFC North club in position to draft can’t-miss QB prospect Caleb Williams.
Per the Associated Press, the Panthers are increasing ticket prices by over four percent for 2024 despite their embarrassing 2023 season.

The Panthers have now suffered six straight losing and non-playoff seasons since Tepper took over as the owner in 2018. Including interim head coaches, the Panthers have employed six different HCs over the last five years.
Tepper has a reputation for being too hands-on as an owner, having apparently pushed for the Frank Reich HC hiring as well as the move for Young last year. And as former Washington Commanders owner Dan Snyder proved for 24 years, being a hands-on owner simply doesn’t benefit anybody.
And so, Tepper and the Panthers will try again with a new coaching staff led by rookie HC Dave Canales in 2014. They may have limited draft capital this year, but the Panthers at least have plenty of cap space to bolster their roster.
