Baker Mayfield is playing his 4th career game for the Panthers and he is a pro already at getting booed by his home fans.
He was hearing the boo birds once again Sunday. When the team failed to convert on a 4th down play, the fans at bank of America stadium rained down boos on the QB.
Tough crowd.
It’s been a rough start to Mayfield’s tenure in Carolina. The team entered today’s game against the Cardinals with a 1-2 record. And their offense has looked anemic once again, even against a terrible defense like Arizona’s.
If Mayfield can’t get it going soon, he could find himself holding the clipboard for Sam Darnold any week now.
