The Carolina Panthers are trying to make a big splash in free agency this off-season.
After the team traded for the number one overall pick in the NFL Draft, the team is looking to bolster talent at the WR position.
After the deals which have taken place so far amongst free agent wideouts, DJ Chark may very well be the top option still available at the position. Aside from him, former Vikings WR Adam Thielen has also been a name that has been floating around.
The Panthers are said t be targeting both of them in free agency.
Chark went through free agency for the first time in his career last off-season. He signed a one-year prove-it deal with the Lions but was limited to just 11 games this season, but his production was still noteworthy. The former second-rounder recorded 502 yards and three touchdowns on 30 receptions.
32-year-old free agent receiver Adam Thielen could still have a lot in the tank after being released by the Vikings. During his nine seasons in Minnesota, Thielen caught 534 passes for 6,682 yards and 55 touchdowns. Despite not being the explosive or high-volume receiver he once was, Thielen does still have a little bit left in the gas tank.

The Panthers have a need at the position after they included D.J. Moore in the trade package sent to the Bears for the top pick in this year’s draft.
Both Chark and Thielen would be perfect for a team that is getting ready to select their QB of the future.
