Chase Daniel is a rich man, a very rich man. Despite only starting in five games over his twelve year career, Daniel will surpass the $40 million mark in career earnings once the 2022 season is completed. He has a $2 million contract for this year to back-up Justin Herbert in Los Angeles.
Although it may not seem so, the second string quarterback on an NFL team is actually a very important role. They help the starter break down game film and prepare for opposing defenses. Also, they are expected to provide leadership and help get their own pass catchers ready for the game. And obviously they are needed to step in if something were to happen to the starter.
Someway, somehow Daniel has avoided getting on the field much as he has only attempted 261 passes in his whole career for a measly 1,694 yards and eight touchdowns.
Many people took to Twitter to voice their jealousy and envy of Chase Daniel, his career and his lifetime earnings.
